Self-Awareness is the KEY success in life.
As you cannot change what you don’t know, being self-aware means consciously knowing what you think, what you do and why you do what you do.
We mostly live on auto-pilot; the majority of our thoughts and behaviours are dictated by comfortable habits we’ve learned. By consciously being aware of what’s happening in your head and what you do in response to what’s happening in your head, will dramatically improve the quality of your life.
Try the four steps below to improve your self-awareness:
.1 STOP & REFLECT – Your brain works way too fast. STOP and take time to reflect on what’s happening inside and outside you.
.2 THE WHYs – We have SPECIFIC REASONS for everything. Learn to ask yourself “WHY?” about everything you think, you feel and you do in your life.
.3 EVALUATE THE WHYs – “Are those “WHYs” supporting me, or are destroying me? Don’t fool yourself, if something is not helping you, admit it and…
.4 TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION as to change something, you must do something to change it.
