Your thoughts: your worst enemy!
I had to take a few days off and spend a bit of time with myself, my thoughts and my best friends: pen and paper. Daily self-reflection always helps me to refocus on what’s really important in my life.
With “what’s important“, I am not talking about writing goals, visualising them, or practise wishful positive thinking; those are all important things, yes, but not of great use if you have a fucked up thought patterns.
Spending time with myself means reflecting, studying and profoundly understanding my inner thoughts and in what direction they are bringing me.
We live our lives on auto-pilot. That’s a fact. Destructive and unhealthy thought patterns often dictate what we want, what we do, and what we have as results.
Then, when things go wrong, we try to fix everything by focusing on what we see in our outer world. We focus on the events, the situations, or the people involved, really caring about what’s causing everything, YOUR THOUGHTS.
If you want to start living…
